Slovenian universities usually ask for the same documents you’d expect from similar academic institutions such as:
- filled-in application form
- proof of paying the application fee (if applicable)
- high school diploma (to apply for a Bachelor’s)
- Bachelor’s diploma (to apply for a Master’s)

To enrol in one of the English-taught programmes, you need to prove a minimum level of English language skills. The most widely accepted tests are:

In Slovenia, the academic year starts in October and ends in September the following year. The university application period usually opens in February-March and closes in August-September. Check the information.
